Class Abilities
Witch
Read / Detect Magic - At 3rd level the Witch gains the ability to automatically read and detect magic. These powers act exactly like the wizard spells of the same name. They are effective on priestly, wizard or witch magic. It is not effective on psionics, unless noted in the psionic discipline.
Lesser Occult Power - At 6th level the Witch receives one lesser occult powers (see Witches & Warlocks for more info on each of the powers)Minor Occult Power - At 9th level the Witch receives one minor occult powers (see Witches & Warlocks for more info on each of the powers)Medial Occult Power - At 12th level the Witch receives one medial occult powers (see Witches & Warlocks for more info on each of the powers)
Greater Occult Power - At 15th level the Witch receives one greater occult powers (see Witches & Warlocks for more info on each of the powers):
Superior Occult Power - At 18th level the Witch receives one superior occult powers (see Witches & Warlocks for more info on each of the powers):
Turn/Control Undead - The witch can affect undead as priest of the same level. The witch can use an expanded table which continues where the priest table stops (see Witches & Warlocks). An evil witch can control undead in stead of turning them.
Witch's weapons only - A witch can only be proficient with daggers, staffs, and the special ability "Familiar's Claws", if she has a familiar and if this ability has been granted to her.

Kiss of Charm
Schools: Enchantment/Charm

Area of Effect: One person

Duration: Special
Range: Touch
Saving Throw: Neg.
This subtle spell works like a charm person spell, except that the target must be of the opposite sex of the caster and the caster must kiss her target. The target saves at - 2. Otherwise this spell acts just like a charm person spell. |
Kiss of Healing/Kiss of Wounding

Saving Throw: None
This spell acts much as per the lst level priest spell, 'cure light wounds". The witch can cure 1d8 points of damage to anyone, including herself The person must be able to be kissed by the witch. A simple "peck" will do, although some traditions differ on where the person needs to be kissed. Most suggest kissing the wounded area, others believe that a kiss on the forehead is enough. The nature of the kiss will be up to the witch's coven or tradition.
The reverse of this spell, Kiss of Wounding, inflicts 1d8 points of damage. As above the witch must be able to kiss the victim. |
Kiss of Sleeping
Schools: Enchantment/Charm

Duration: 1d8 hours + 1 hour/lvl
Range: Touch
Saving Throw: None
The victim of this spell falls Into a deep sleep for 1d8 hours plus 1 hour per level of the witch. They cannot be awakened by normal means such as shaking, slapping, etc. The slumber is broken if a successful dispel magic, remove curse or kiss of waking is cast. |
Kiss of Waking

This spell will awaken one person under the effects of any form of magical or non- magical sleep (such as a Kiss of Sleeping). |

Kiss of Strength

The whitch must kiss the intended recipient and the victim must be able to receive a kiss (cannot be in combat). The recipient recieves 2d4 points of Strength for 1 day.
The reverse of this spell, kiss of Weakness, drains the victim of 2d4 points of Strength for 1 day. After receiving such a kiss, the victim wilI be completely helpless for 1d6 tums. The drained strength returns after the 24 hour period at a rate of 1 point per day. The kiss' effect is reduced if a successful remove curse is cast and the rate of strength return increases to 1 point per hour. |
Know Alignment/ Undetectable Alignment

A know alignment spell enables the priest to exactly read the aura of a creature or an aligned object (unaligned objects reveal nothing). The caster must remain stationary and concentrate on the subject for a full round. If the creature rolls a successful saving throw vs. spell, the caster learns nothing about that particular creature from the casting. Certain magical devices negate the power of the know alignment spell.
The reverse, undetectable alignment, conceals the alignment of an object or creature for 24 hours. |

This spell confers the ability to read a language chosen by the caster and generally understand the meaning of a text. It does not translate magical scripts used to record wizard spellbooks and wizard spell scrolls, nor does it decipher code. It does not allow the caster to write the language itself. It does not necessarily allow complete understanding of magical or highly specialized technical works, although the subject matter and gist of the material might be gleaned. |

This spell allows the caster to sense the basic needs, drives, and/or emotions of any unshielded mind (hunger, thirst, fear, fatigue, pain, uncertainty, rage, hatred, curiosity, hostility, friendliness, love, and so on). The spell gives no result for creatures protected against such detection, psionic creatures, or emotionless creatures (such as slimes, oozes, jellies, golems, skeletons, zombies, etc.).
The material component is the casters holy symbol.

Kiss of Slavery

This spell is almost the same as the 1st level wizard spell charm person, except that the victim will obey any of the caster's orders unquestionably and wilI not stop until the task has been completed. This can work against the caster as even an order given in jest must be fulfilled. A given order cannot be countermanded. The charm is not broken even if the witch attacks or harms the victim. The charm can be removed if a successful dispel charm or remove curse is cast. |
